In a deregulated market, competition among Georgia utility companies to provide attractive energy rates means that consumers have real choices when it comes to energy service. Your friends at Ignite and Stream Energy understand how important it is to differentiate ourselves from other utility companies in Georgia, and that’s why we work tirelessly to provide you with excellent residential gas service at affordable energy rates.
Stream Intro / Variable Rate Plan (for New Customers Only)
The Stream Intro / Variable Rate Plan is for new customers only and is the applied rate for the first two invoices. After the second power service invoice, the rate reverts to Stream Energy’s then-current Variable Rate. A variable rate plan allows you to pay for your natural gas each month at the current cents-per-therm rate, which may change at any time depending on market conditions.
Variable Rate Plan (Month to Month)
A variable rate plan allows you to pay for your natural gas each month at the current cents-per-therm rate, which may change at any time depending on market conditions.
Fixed Rate Plan
A fixed rate plan allows you to contract with Stream Energy for natural gas and to be billed at the same cents-per-therm and the same customer service charge for a specified period of time.
For your ease and convenience, Stream Energy has posted online the Letter of Agency, the Terms and Conditions and the Disclosure Statement for our power service. This document will help you make an informed decision to join the Stream Energy family of customers. These documents outline the details of Stream Energy’s contract elements as your energy provider and should answer many of the questions you may have about our relationship with you.
If you smell gas, quickly get away from the area. When you can no longer smell the gas, call Atlanta Gas Light (AGL) at its 24-hour emergency number:
1-877-427-4321 (outside metro Atlanta) or 770-907-4231 (in metro Atlanta)
Or, call 9-1-1 if you can’t remember the AGL number.

Q: What is the relationship between Stream Energy and Ignite?
Ignite is the network marketing distribution channel for Stream Energy. While Ignite does not technically supply energy service, its Independent Associates are compensated for gathering energy customers on behalf of Stream Energy.
When a customer is recruited by an Ignite Independent Associate, the customer receives his or her energy service from Stream. However, the Ignite Independent Associate serves as the customer’s energy service point of contact and maintains the one-to-one relationship with the customer for as long as he or she stays on Stream Energy service.
