Presidential Directors / Top Money Earners – 2012

#1 – Presley & Jeanie Swagerty (Flower Mound, TX)
With a background in high school athletics and teaching, people refer to Ignite’s top money earner as “The Coach.” With his genuine emphasis on helping others to achieve, Presley Swagerty demonstrates on a daily basis why his nickname is so fitting. Initially, Presley joined Ignite to make a $1,000 a month to pay down credit card debt. Due to their success in Ignite, Presley and his wife, Jeanie, retired from their former occupations and have gained not only financial freedom but, more importantly, time freedom. Family has always been Presley and Jeanie’s top priority, and Ignite has allowed them the flexibility to travel to attend their daughter’s singing performances and their son’s baseball games. The Swagertys exemplify that common people can do uncommon things through Ignite.

#2 – Logan & Haley Stout (Frisco, TX)
Former youth ministers Logan and Haley Stout joined Ignite because they saw a way they could leverage time to create income so that they could focus on coaching kids without having to worry about finances. Logan, a former minor league baseball player, also currently owns the Dallas Patriots baseball team, as well as different select baseball organizations and indoor facilities. Logan and Haley feel most people die without realizing their potential, but with Ignite, there isn’t a lid on what they can do.

#3 – Steve & Diane Fisher (Colleyville, TX)
A former Analyst of Airport Operations at American Airlines, Steve Fisher joined Ignite because he saw the incredible opportunity of being in on the ground floor of both a start-up company and energy deregulation in Texas. To Steve, network marketing and electricity make a perfect combination. Steve and his wife Diane feel that Ignite has changed their lives in many ways, but mainly it has allowed them to become debt free and to live out some of their long-held dreams.

#4 – Greg & Heather McCord (Dallas, TX)
Prior to joining Ignite, Greg became very interested in network marketing as a simple and potentially lucrative way to develop alternative forms of income. Upon joining Ignite, Greg’s goals were to create a supplemental income that could help pay a few household bills. Now, income from Greg’s Ignite business has exceeded his full-time income and his financial goals have become much bigger. Greg says, “Ignite has changed my life and now I live life on my own terms.”

#5 – Randy & Marcie Hedge (DeQueen, AR)
Full-time dad and former insurance broker Randy Hedge is one of the most dynamic Associates in Ignite. Recognized for his knack for mixing humor with hard-hitting business training, Randy is one of the most sought-after speakers and trainers in the Ignite family. Financial freedom and extra free time were his initial reasons for joining Ignite, but Randy’s long-term goal is to build a sizeable residual income. Randy is proud to tell people that Ignite has been the biggest business-related blessing of his life.

#6 – Mark & La Dohn Dean (Dallas, TX)
Mark and La Dohn enjoy their Ignite business full time. Mark is a former owner of a car dealership in Garland, Texas while La Dohn was very active in the Real Estate industry. They now work their Ignite business together while enjoying the time freedom and choices that Ignite’s residual income has afforded them. “We thank the Lord for the opportunity to help others through Ignite as they also strive to achieve their dreams and goals.”

#7 – Brian & Beth Lucia (McKinney, TX)
Brian and Beth began Ignite hoping to replace Beth’s income and enable her to be a stay-at-home mom. After 16 years as a teacher, Beth was able to leave behind her previous career after just 10 months in Ignite. Ignite has also allowed Brian to cast aside a travel-intensive career that kept him away from home. Brian and Beth are passionate about helping others achieve the same irreplaceable time freedom. Says Brian, “The truly hidden gem in this business is more than Financial Freedom and Time Freedom; it’s the incredible people who come into your life. Ignite has made us rich with new friendships.”

#8 – Ryan Morris (Fort Worth, TX)
Prior to Ignite, Ryan Morris worked for an Austin-based bank, but he was dissatisfied when his compensation failed to progress with his accomplishments. When Ignite first was presented, Ryan gave it the cold shoulder. “I said ‘No’ to Ignite for several months,” he says. “Then my Mom (PD Martha Troy) joined and promoted to Executive Director in just 18 months. I liked the idea of unlimited income potential and decided to go for it.” Today, Ryan likes the freedom of being able to work when and where he wants. Reflecting back, he says, “I was a personal banker with one of the largest privately-held banks in Texas for almost 3 years. I met every goal they set for me, but the appropriate raises never followed. Fortunately, I was able to leave that full-time job behind after three 3 years when my part-time Ignite income doubled my bank salary. Today, I am honored to teach others how to do the same thing!”

#9 – Mark Florez (Heath, TX)
A former car dealership owner, Mark Florez saw Ignite as a huge ground floor opportunity. Mark has found that, through Ignite, he has created many long-lasting friendships while also building a very successful business. He has dedicated himself full time to Ignite and worked very hard to make his goals come true. Ignite has changed his life dramatically and now it also gives him the opportunity to help others achieve their financial goals, too.

His wife Susan has also been a business owner as well as an educator for over 25 years. The Andersons’ focus for their Ignite business is to create a retirement residual income for themselves and thousands of other people. They feel that Ignite has allowed them to bring great passion back to their lives. The Andersons say that Ignite is the most fun that they have had in many years, and they love it.

#11 – Trey & Sally Dyer (Baird, TX)
Thanks to the success they have achieved with Ignite, the Dyers have replaced two salaries and have sold their auto body repair shop. But according to the Dyers, it has given them something even more important. “Ignite has given us valuable friendships with wonderful people who we never would have met, had it not been for Ignite. It has given us the joy of helping others to get control of their lives, to dream again, and ultimately achieve their dreams.”

#12 – Jay Veal (Athens, GA)
Jay is the founder and principal of a national anesthesia staffing firm. At the core of that business model are the ideas of duplication and leverage. “When I saw that the Ignite business model also relies heavily on these concepts, it just made perfect sense to me,” Jay said. “I love that we succeed by losing ourselves in the success of others. It is easy to persevere when it is not only about you. What an amazing opportunity to help others achieve a true residual income, while simultaneously creating one for your family!” Jay makes his home in Athens, Georgia with his sons, Max & Clark.

#13 – Jerry & Monica Scribner (Richmond, TX)
Jerry Scribner knows the value of good tools. He learned that working in the construction field for many years. Then Jerry was laid off during the recent economic downturn and found a new profession in which good tools came in just as handy – Ignite! “We had serious economic needs when I found Ignite,” Jerry says. “Someone told me I’d find success the fastest by taking massive and immediate action. So I did! Ignite doesn’t involve becoming a salesman or energy expert. It’s really about using the marketing tools the company has developed to gather teammates and train them. I’m just the messenger, not the message.” Jerry likes having a profession that is far less susceptible to economic downturns as was his old one. He also relishes the time flexibility and residual income Ignite provides. “Formerly, I built things for others,” Jerry says. “Now, however, I am building a great future for my family through Ignite.”

#14 – Terri & Bryan Hatch (Pilot Point, TX)
Before joining Ignite, Terri had been a Sales and Marketing Representative with a national company for twenty years. She joined Ignite to enhance the financing of her family’s healthcare, college funding, and retirement. Terri claims she was excited to see in Ignite the opportunity to develop true, long-term residual income. She says, “Ignite has been a financial blessing to my family and has given me great confidence in our future. The relationships I have established through Ignite have become an extended family to me, one that I truly cherish.”

#15 – Terry & Shelba Yancey (Jacksonville, TX)
Owners of a construction company, Terry and Shelba Yancey were looking for ways to supplement their income when they were introduced to Ignite. Upon looking at the business presentation, however, they both saw that it could do a lot more than just provide a few extra dollars each month – instead, it became the engine to help them work towards their goal of a debt free retirement as well as provide for their family’s future.

#16 – Susan Fisher (Colleyville, TX)
Besides being one of Ignite’s top money earners, Susan Fisher is presently a high school principal. Ignite has helped her accomplish her financial dream of getting out of debt. She would like to help others achieve the same goal. Becoming an Ignite Associate has allowed her to retire ten years early, work along side her brother, Steve Fisher, and meet some of the greatest people in the world.

#17 – Tim Rose (Wylie, TX)
Prior to Ignite, Tim had careers in both law enforcement and home construction. Those professions kept Tim running into himself, coming and going. “I was always chasing the next measly dollar,” he says. Tim joined Ignite because he saw an opportunity for a business that would pay him the rest of his life and place him in a position to help others, starting with his own family. “I don’t want my grandchildren or the generations that follow to worry about money, especially things like paying for college,” Tim says. “My mother and my children all have their own Ignite businesses. It‘s really transformed our lives. Because of Ignite, we have travelled to places we wouldn’t have ever seen and made good friends with people we would never have known.” Overall, Tim looks back at his previous life as one of mere subsistence, whereas today, he lives out one of contribution. “I just cannot say enough about Ignite and the opportunities it provides,” he says.

#18 – Mike & Danene Foti (New Hope, PA)
Mike and Danene Foti live in New Hope, Pennsylvania. As a former real estate investor and mortgage broker, Mike joined Ignite because of the appeal of residual income and the opportunity to build a business that also offers time freedom. He was intrigued that an opportunity was made available during a recession that enables so many people to have an answer to their financial struggles. “I love the fact that by switching energy providers for free, we help people save money on their energy bills,” Mike says. “It’s just that simple.”
In addition to working her Ignite business with Mike, Danene is a teacher serving elementary school special needs students. “Our purpose in life is to commit to serving others in a way that has both a positive and lasting impact on their lives,” Danene says. Helping special needs students achieve their academic and physical goals and experience success is a great thrill for her. Now with Ignite, she has the unique opportunity to serve the larger public by helping them begin to dream again.
Ignite has changed the Fotis’ lives in many ways. Their favorite part of Ignite is the relationships that have been developed with folks in and out of their business network. “It’s wonderful being able to present something good to a community hurting from a declining economy,” Mike says. “Our joy in touching lives goes beyond words. We are so thankful, and it is our desire to work even harder to help even more people experience greater financial and time freedom in their lives,” Danene says.

#19 – Jim & Lori Spargur (Conroe, TX)
Though he was a successful owner of a finance and leasing company, Jim Spargur was poor in one key regard he lacked the time to pursue the things that truly mattered to him. Like many others, he turned to Ignite to help him solve the problem. “Because of Ignite, I have my life back. I sold my company in April 2007 and went full-time with Ignite in the same month. By having more time, I am able to focus on what I see as God’s purpose for my life, such as bringing water and aid to Africa. In fact, thanks to the money I earned through Ignite, I put in my first water well to help a village in Kenya, Africa.”

#20 – George Koufalis (Allentown, PA)
You could say George Koufalis was too busy to Ignite: he was a part-time student finishing his Bachelor’s degree while also managing his mother’s day spa and a small lawn care service company. But it was that frenetic activity that proved the motivation he needed to start his own Ignite business. Just 14 months after joining, this Allentown, Pennsylvania resident was able to retire at such an early age instead. “I joined Ignite because I saw an amazing, recession-proof opportunity that could be life-changing,” George says. The prospect of being able to help others change their lives really engaged him. “Life is all about helping others,” George says. “I want to look back and say that I helped thousands of people change their lives forever.” Thanks to Ignite, George is able to spend more time with his nephew and is relaxed and at peace for the first time in his life.

#21 – Elbert & Labeebah Thomas (Dallas, TX)
Elbert, a business owner for many years (owning dozens of rental properties, as well as a commercial cleaning and logistics company), and his wife Labeebah (who herself owned and operated a hair care business) joined Ignite in 2006 after realizing their long-term goals were taking them in a new direction. Says Elbert, “Being an entrepreneur, you have to keep your mind open for the next shift in wealth creation. With Ignite, it only made sense. Our goal is to give people a plan B and the ability to choose what they get out of life. Ignite has given us so much: income, freedom, friends, certainty, options and life on our terms.

#22 – Inge Saenz & Chad Williams (Copperas Cove, TX)
Given her success with Ignite, one would hardly guess Inge Saenz is actually shy. “Yes, I get really nervous around new people,” she says. What pushed Inge past her shyness? “I realized how many people needed the Ignite opportunity, so I was determined to share it with them,” she says. In fact, it wasn’t long ago that Inge was one of those in such need. She was working on a Master’s degree in Psychology and needed an income that wouldn’t consume all of her time. “My dad helped me a lot during my undergraduate years,” she says. “But once I entered graduate school, I knew he needed to focus on my younger siblings.” So Inge applied herself to Ignite with a student’s dedication and became an Executive Director within a year, all the while continuing her studies. As is if that wasn’t impressive enough, Inge is the youngest person to ever reach Executive Director status in Ignite. “I wasn’t going to let shyness stand in my way,” she says.

#23 – Ralph & Andra Williams (Copperas Cove, TX)
The Williams compiled an interesting combined resume: Ralph, a retired army pilot and officer, and Andra, a registered nurse, realtor and exchange student coordinator. The Williams knew all about working harder and were ready to work smarter when they found Ignite. Andra with her sales background enjoyed talking to people and had a drive for success. Yet that drive was contingent upon a feeling that she was helping people. For his part, Ralph was a bit quieter, but had military discipline and consistency in his favor. Today, the Williams enjoy the freedom and flexibility their Ignite business has afforded them. Andra loves the fact that she is helping others build a future. And Ralph, shedding his former shyness, can’t stop talking about Ignite. “All six of our children work Ignite, too, so it’s like heaven on earth, Andra says. Our last career stop is by far the most fulfilling, Ralph says.

#24 – Bob & Sue Ledbetter (Southlake, TX)
Prior to Ignite, Bob Ledbetter was an athletic director and state-title winning head football coach for Southlake Carroll High School, while his wife Sue was an elementary school teacher. Now the retired educators are full-time Ignite Associates. After teaching and coaching for 37 years, the Ignite Opportunity has allowed them to continue to make a difference in people’s lives. They truly feel that they have been blessed.

#25 – Martha & Martin Troy (Fort Worth, TX)
A mother of four with a background which includes teaching, home repair and owning rental properties, Martha knows something about the value of hard work with an eye to the future. She was also fortunate to learn early on about the benefits of residual income. “My grandmother rented houses, as did my parents,” said Martha, “and I grew up understanding the value of enjoying quality time with my family due to the benefits of passive, residual income.” With the Ignite Opportunity, Martha is leveraging her big picture mindset, hard work ethic and belief in residual income to maximize her earning potential. And for the Troys, it’s a family business, with Martha’s husband and two of her children involved as Associates. Her proudest moment in Ignite was knowing that her son, Ryan Morris, had also reached the level of Presidential Director.

#26 – Randall & Michelle Blackmon (Houston, TX)
The Blackmons joined Ignite for a reason many IAs can identify with: “We figured if deregulation was going to happen with or without us, it may as well happen with us. We saw an opportunity that made sense.” Joining Ignite in September 2005, Randall and Michelle have worked as a team towards their shared goal of financial freedom for their family and the families of their downline. “Ignite continues to bless our family. We now dream when we’re awake, not just when we’re sleeping.”

#27 – Louis & Michelle Miori (Houston, TX)
Louis, a pastor at a church in northwest Houston, and Michelle, a sales executive with a large printing firm, knew from day one that their busy lives would mean they would work Ignite on a part-time basis. But they haven’t let that stop them, approaching their business with full-time passion. Their goal with Ignite was to generate extra money to help fund the college education of their three children. Along the way, Louis and Michelle have made lifelong friends and learned that a steady commitment to Ignite is the key to life-changing residual income.

#28 – Wendell & Amy Campbell (Spring, TX)
Though the Campbells had a very demanding job, four children, church activities, and a minor surgery that took Wendell out of the game for longer than anticipated, they still achieved the position of Executive Director. They also have the distinction of being our first EDs in the Houston area. Not only have Wendell and Amy had success with Ignite, but Wendell’s mom and dad, and sister and brother-in-law are Ignite Associates. Talk about a family business!
